Moreover, at the event, the Public Works Department (PWD) and Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) were honored with the Daiki Axis Global Award for Environment Protection & Conservation 2024′. These organizations were selected by Daiki Axis globally for their relentless efforts in fighting environmental pollution, preserving natural resources and improving the citizens’ lives of the capital Dhaka.
These organizations took effective measures to rescue and preserve the canals of Dhaka and played pivotal roles in installing sewage treatment plants. These two initiatives significantly changed the health of this city.
Daiki Axis has been operating its business in many countries, providing its products and services in Bangladesh, since 2018, Daiki Axis has completed numerous projects through strategic partnership with Charm Ltd, Bangladesh. Due to increased demand for its water treatment products, in 2024 Daiki Axis reassessed its status partner and decided to establish Daiki Axis Bangladesh in collaboration with Charm Ltd.
This collaboration aims to manufacture Sewage Treatment Plants (STP) locally in Bangladesh, where Japan-originated Johkasou technology will be implemented. Water system operations involve managing, maintaining, and optimizing water systems to ensure a clean and reliable water supply. From treatment plants to distribution networks, these operations focus on efficiency, sustainability, and meeting community needs.
Before this utilization of the Johkasou system & technology in other countries Japan had the historical impact of this sewage system on restoring its water environment. Hence, Johkasou products are approved by the government of Japan and have been deployed across Japan as part of their government policies.
Recognizing the global impact of Johkasou technology, Daiki Axis Bangladesh is committed to developing the troubled water environment of Bangladesh. Pollution from industrial waste and agricultural runoff in rivers and lakes poses significant problems, alongside pathogenic contamination and inadequate sanitation leading to serious health hazards.
These issues currently underscore the need for comprehensive water management strategies in Bangladesh, and this is where Daiki Axis Bangladesh steps in by initiating Johkasou technology for Sewage Treatment, which will safeguard public health and create a sustainable environment.
This collaboration with Daiki Axis also paves the way for Bangladesh to incorporate investments from more global companies in the future.
Daiki Axis Bangladesh is a subsidiary of Daiki Axis Japan that specializes in cutting-edge Johkasou systems & models to meet Bangladesh’s growing need for efficient wastewater management.
